• Vinous rewards Andreola with 93 points!

Vinous, one of the most important wine publications in the world, rewards Andreola with extraordinary scores! 🏆
26° I° and Vigna Ochera got 93 points, followed by Col del Forno with 92 points, XXIII Bio and Mas de Fer with 91 points and finally Dirupo Brut with 89 points!

Vinous reflects Antonio Galloni’s vision of a modern wine publication: the team of renowned critics and writers focuses both on the discovery of new releases and on the deepening of older wines, providing video-interviews with wine producers, interactive maps, restaurant recommendations and more, all published in a continuous, daily stream of articles.

With the acquisition of Stephen Tanzer’s International Wine Cellar in December 2014 and the addition of the IWC editorial team, Vinous has expanded its coverage to all the major wine regions of the world.

  • The Winehunter awards Andreola with 2 Golds

New prizes after numerous international awards in the past months: the Winehunter Award – awarded annually under the Merano Wine Festival – has awarded Andreola 2 GOLD AWARDS – to the Cartizze Valdobbiadene Docg Superiore di Cartizze Dry  and the Col del Forno Valdobiadene Docg Rive di Refrontolo Brut – and 1 RED AWARD, to the 26 I Valdobbiadene Docg Rive di Col San Martino Extra Brut.

The apex of quality and synthesis of Valdobbiadene DOCG, Cartizze by Andreola comes from the exclusive place of the same name, where wine making has been regulated since 1969: a ’golden pentagon’ in which a few hectares of vineyard have been selected due to the perfect combination of gentle micro climate and ancient soil comprising sandy layers, mineral salt deposits, clay and formations from the ancient seabed and its subtropical climate.

Our Cartizze is characterized by aromas of citron and fresh and candied lemon peel, followed by acacia blossoms, apples and peaches. When sipped the flavour is intense, direct and full-bodied, embracing and gratifying.
